Chapter Twenty Five - Billie's tears

Billie returned home and went into the living room, all the mess from the previous night had been cleaned up and Luke and Danni were eating cold pizza from the night before.

“Where is everyone?” she asked them, taking a slice herself and sitting down.

“Jayden and Geri have gone home and Rose has gone to Manchester,” Danni said sadly.

“What?” Billie said shocked, “Why didn't she tell me?”

“I thought she would have text you!” Danni said.

“Nope,” Billie replied, “What a fucking day.”

“Tell me about it,” Luke said, “I am knackered just from the stress.”
Billie looked around, “I'm going to go to bed.”

She got up and wandered into her bedroom, she felt really sad that Rose wasn't there, she hadn't felt like this before, she really missed her, she took her phone out and dialled Rose's number.

“Hello?” came Rose's voice.

“Hi,” Billie said.

“Are you OK?”

“Why didn't you tell me you were going?”

“I didn't think you would care,” Rose replied.
“What do you mean? I clearly would care!”

“I'm sorry,” Rose said.

“I miss you.”

“I'm sorry,” she repeated.

“When are you coming back?”

“I don't know, I just need to look after Rhys, he barely knows this girl and I don't feel comfortable about it all.”
“I understand,” Billie said, “Keep in touch yeah?”

“Yeah, OK,” Rose said, her voice shaky.

“Right well, bye,” Billie hung up before she burst into tears, what the fuck was wrong with her, she didn't do this shit, crying over some girl, who she had just been using as a friend with benefits. She was also worried about her and whether she'd be OK, with Rhys going off the rails, would Rose cope?

“Billie?” Danni knocked on the door.

Billie wiped her eyes before saying, “Come in.”
“Are you OK?” Danni sat on the edge of Billie's bed and gave her a cuddle, “Aww what's up?”

“I don't know,” Billie lied, she didn't want Danni telling Rose about this.

“Me and Luke are going to go to Mcdonalds in the car, do you want to come?”

“No, but can you get me something?”

“Course we can,” Danni said, she took Billie's order and left her crying into her pillow, Danni was very good with people and got the picture that Billie definitely wanted to be left alone.

She went and got her shoes and coat on and went into the living room.

“Are you ready?” she asked Luke.

“Yeah,” Luke said, “It feels lonely doesn't it?”

Danni smiled, “A bit, I would say we could go round Geri and Jayden's but I don't want to leave Billie here.”

“No,” Luke said, “Neither do I.”

“Bless us,” Danni said, “arent we nice?”

They drove to McDonald's and bought themselves some food before taking it back to the flat.

“You go in,” Luke said, “I'm just going to ring Adam.”

He dialled Adam's number, Adam picked up, sounding tired.

“Did I wake you?” Luke asked.

“No,” Adam said, “But I was in bed.”

“Are you all right?”

“Not really, are you?”

“I'm not bad mate, listen if you want to come over and stay with us, just come over, you got a spare key, any time.”

“Thanks Luke,” Adam replied, “That really nice, but I got Matt here.”
“I also think Billie would like to have either of you around,” Luke said, “she's been crying, Rose has gone to Manchester.”

“I'll speak to Matt and we'll see,” Adam said, “tell her she is welcome at mine though.”

“Will do,” Luke said, “Take care. Bye.”

Luke went upstairs, Danni and Billie were sat at the table, eating.

“Shall we do something tomorrow?” Danni asked Billie.

“What do you suggest?” Billie aksed.

“Me, you and Geri, Spa Day,” Danni said.

“Ok,” Billie said, “I'm going to go to bed now, but wake me up an hour before we have to leave tomorrow.”

“Its only eight,” Luke said.

“Yeah, but I just feel exhausted,” Billie said.

“Fair enough,” Danni said, “Night.”

Billie went to bed, Danni and Luke watched a film before they also went to bed.

In Manchester Rose, Rhys and Naomi were already drunk and preparing for a wild night.

Matt and Jade were in bed by ten, Adam stayed in bed and Geri and Jayden packed for centre parcs before themselves going to bed. Not one person was particularly happy, each having the same thing on their mind, none of this would be happening without the money, if they were all at home. 

Chapter Twenty Three - Rhys leaves

“Right,” Rose said, “I'm staying in Billie's bed, there is an airbed in Luke and Danni's room, one in the kitchen and one you can put in here. Oh and someone can obviously have my bed! Have a good night everyone!”

Her and Billie left the room. Jayden and Geri quickly jumped up to get Rose's bed.

Naomi then got out her bag of MDMA. “Jade? Rhys?”

“Go for it,” Jade said.

Rhys looked towards Adam, whose face was blank.

“Yeah please,” he said.

Naomi made up three lines and her, Rhys and Jade took them all.

“I'll be in bed,” Adam said getting up and leaving the room to go into Billie's room, Billie and Rose were just getting changed.

“What's up?” Billie asked.

“Rhys is sniffing drugs in there!” Adam said sitting down on the bed.

Rose looked uncomfortably at Billie.

“I didn't know he was going to do that.”
“Does he know you don't like it?” Billie asked.

“Well no,” Adam said, “But is it really my right to tell him what he can and cant do?”
“No,” Billie said, “But if you hate it, you should tell him.”
“I suppose so,” Adam said, but he got up and went into Luke and Danni's room, and laid down on the airbed, not that he could sleep.

“I'm so hammered,” Danni falling off the sofa and onto the floor, Naomi found that really funny.

“She just fell off the sofa and onto the floor!” she said to Rhys.

“Yes!” Rhys said “I saw it.”

Naomi repeated herself over and over, Rhys just laughed.

“I feel sick,” Jade said, running out of the room. Matt chased after her.

“She's going to be sick,” Naomi said, now obsessed with that.

“First person to be sick in our toilet,” Luke said sitting on Danni's lap, “And it's not even on of us!”

“I'm sure we will make it to second though,” Danni said, “Shall we go out for a fag?”

“Yeah, lets go!”

They left the room leaving just Rhys, Naomi and Simon, who was almost falling asleep.

“Oi, Simon!” Naomi said, “Wake up!”
“No!” Simon said, “I'm fucking knackered.”

“Do some MD then!” Naomi said.

“Fuck that, I'm not in the mood Naomi,” Simon said.

Naomi rolled her eyes at him, looking at Rhys, “I fancy an adventure.”

“What shall we do?” Rhys asked.

“Run away to Wales,” She suggested.

Rhys just laughed and ignored her, when Adam walked in.

“I'm not happy Rhys,” Adam said, “I don't want to see you doing this.”

Rhys looked at Adam, in his right mind, this would have upset him, but on the drugs he just felt anger, but he didn't say anything, he just stared at him. It got to the stage where Adam clearly knew Rhys wasn't in his right mind and decided to go back to bed and talk to him in the morning.

Rhys looked at Naomi.

“What about Manchester?”

Chapter twenty two - Ring of Fire

“Can I have five extra large pepperoni pizza's, 4 extra large chicken and sweetcorn pizza's, 4 extra large Margaritas and 2 extra large hot and spicy pizza's,” Billie was on the phone to the local Pizza place, “Ten portions of chips, four boxes of spicy chicken wings, and five boxes of spicy wedges, oh and seven boxes of onion rings! How much will that be?”

Rose laughed as she made some cocktails, there was a lot of them eating tonight, Rhys had decided to bring his new friends, Simon, Naomi and Jade, and Matt not realising Jade was coming had invited Emily.

“This is going to be awkward,” Billie said as Luke and Danni joined them in the kitchen.

“Can we play ring of fire?” Danni asked.

“Yes!” Rose said getting her jug out.

Rhys and Naomi came into the kitchen as well.

“I need a another drink!” Rhys announced walking into the dining table.

“Are you sure?” Billie asked jokingly.

“I thinks so,” Rhys said.

Billie handed him another drink.

“Geri's horny!” Jayden said excitedly, “Anywhere we can go.”

“Urgh,” Danni said, “Way too much information.”
“If this wasn't such a big deal,” Rose said, “I would have said, you can go home to do that shit, but as it must have been a while for you both, you can go in my room! As long as you change the sheet!”

“We wont be using the bed!” Jayden said, running back into the living room to get Geri, who was really quite drunk.

They all went back into the living room where everyone was sat down on the floor. Danni had put three packs of cards on the floor and everyone was waiting to play the game.

“Hold on,” Rose said, “i need to get the rules.”

She found the rules on her phone and they began.

“Adam you go first!” Rhys said.

Adam picked a card and showed it to Rose.

“You must add the jug, if the card you pick is a heart,” Rose said, making this rule up herself, “But you need to pick someone else to drink three fingers worth of their drink.”

Adam looked around the room, “Who isn't drunk enough? Hmm. Emily!”

Emily got her drink which was Cava, and downed three fingers worth of it.

Rhys then picked a card, “six of hearts!” he said, pouring a shot of Jack Daniel's into the jug, Adam had added Archers.

“Dare! Someone think of a dare for him!”

“I dare you,” Matt said, “When Geri and Jayden come in, run up to them, hug them and when they sit down just sit with them and keep cuddling them and saying you love them.”

“Easy,” Rhys said.

Naomi was next to pick a card, “Nine of spades,” she said.

“Ooh,” Danni said looking at the rules, “You get to make a up a rule that we all have to follow on our go!”

“Do a shot,” she said, “Of tequila.”
Everyone except Danni, Rose and Billie groaned in disgust.

“I'll get the tequila!” Billie said jumping up and going to get it, when she arrived she poured out a shot for Emily who was next.

“Urgh,” Emily said screwing up her face but drinking it anyway, “Fucking foul,” she looked around and noticed Jade was looking at her, and not in a nice way, she also noticed Matt didn't seem to be getting into the spirit of things as he usually would.

“Pick a card” Rhys said to her.

She picked one, she had to down another three fingers of her drink. “I am going to be hammered!” she said.

Matt's turn next, he had to truth or dare someone. He chose Naomi. “I dare you,” he said, “To answer the door the pizza man, in just your underwear!”

“Oh my god!” Jade said laughing, “Go on Naomi, that will be so funny!”

“Ok,” Naomi said, “i will!”

Jade went next, “I got hearts, can I add my tequila to the jug?”

“No,” Billie said laughing, “You gotta drink your tequila!”

Jade drank her tequila then added some champagne to the jug, “What is my card then?” she asked.

“Snog the person on your right,” Rose said, it had said left on her phone, but she changed it, to see Jade's reaction at having to snog Matt, and also to wind Emily up.

Jade rolled her eyes. Matt couldn't help but smile a little bit.

“Come on then,” Matt said looking at Jade, she leant forward. As they kissed Emily got up and stormed out of the room.

Billie and Adam looked at each other, and they couldn't help but smile. Maybe Matt was finally getting over her.

“Is she your girlfriend?” Jade asked Matt quietly.

“Nope,” Matt said, “She isnt.”

Geri and Jayden came back into the room, “What's wrong with Emily?” Geri asked, “She just walked out.”
“Leave her,” Billie said.

Rhys got up and jumped on Geri and Jayden as he was dared to do.

Simon picked a card, he had to answer a truth question from three people of his choice.

He randomly chose Danni, Billie and Adam.

Danni started, “Have you ever had a threesome?” she asked.

He looked quite shy before answering, “No.”
Billie went next, “How many people have you slept with?”

“Ten,” he said.

“How old are you?” Matt asked him.

“Eighteen.”

“Oh, I thought you were older,” Jayden said, Rhys was still clinging onto the back of his neck.

Adam thought for a second, “How did your last relationship end?”
“I was going out with this girl called Denise and I found her cheating on me,” he said, “It was about six months ago now.”
“We said she was a bitch,” Naomi said, “But he didn't listen.”
“Always the way!” Billie said looking at Matt, she then poured Simon his shot and watched him drink it.

“My turn,” Luke said picking his card and showing it to Danni.

“You have to kiss me,” Danni said, he kissed her, “But that isn't your card!”

“Never have I ever,” Rose said.

“Ok,” Luke said doing his shot of tequila, and looking a bit sick, “Never have I ever, had a one night stand.”

Everyone else except Danni and Simon drank their drink.

“I would prepare to bet money I have had the most!” Rhys said.

“We don't need to get into that!” Jayden said, “I would clearly win!”

“Hold on!” Rose said, “I think i've had my fair share.”

“I've had more than fifty,” Naomi said.

Everyone went silent, as the doorbell rang.

“I think you win!” Jayden said.

“Get naked!” Matt told Naomi. Who did as she was told.

Billie, Rose, Jade and Matt went out with her, the look on the pizza mans face was priceless, he handed her pizza after pizza and couldn't take his eyes off her.

They paid him and closed the door, Naomi got dressed really quickly, while the others set the pizza's around the kitchen and on the dining room table.

“Everyone help yourselves!” Danni called, “We'll play the game again after we have eaten!”

“Are you having a good time?” Matt asked Jade as everyone else went into the kitchen.

“Yeah,” Jade said, “its really fun, everyone is so nice!”

“You think?” Matt asked, “Emily didn't get on with them, especially my sister.”

“No your sister is so sweet!” Jade said.

They went into the kitchen and helped themselves to pizza.

Danni, Luke, Adam, Billie and Rose were sat at the table eating, Rhys and Naomi were stood in the kitchen laughing, Jayden and Geri were stood with Simon telling him stories of their sex life.

Matt and Jade went over to Naomi and Rhys.

“How's it going?” Jade asked.

“Good thank you!” Naomi said, “You?”

“Yeah good,” Jade smiled at her.

“Not on the hard stuff tonight then Rhys?” Matt asked.

“Not yet no,” Rhys said, “Might do a bit later.”

Matt shook his head laughing, “Have you told Adam about it?”

“No,” Rhys said, “He wont mind will he?”
“I dunno mate,” Matt said honestly.

They finished eating and went and sat back in the living room. It was Danni's turn at the game.

“Girls drink three fingers of their drink,” Rose said.

All the girls drank. Before Billie did her tequila shot and took her card.

“Dare!”

“Come on Matt!” Adam said, “You're the one who's good at Dares!”

“It's my sister!” Matt said, “I cant choose rude stuff!”
“It doesn't have to be rude!” Geri said.

Jayden smiled, it was the first time Geri had said something out loud to everyone for a while.

“Ok, I got one!” Naomi said, “Pick some one, and you have to stand outside on the balcony, snogging with your tops off for 1 minute.”
“I pick Simon,” Billie said.

Simon smiled shyly, but followed her out to the balcony and did as he was told. He loved kissing Billie, he was unsure of where to put his arms, she had her hands on the back of his neck, so he just rested his on his back.

Rose wasn't happy, Danni hugged her, “It doesn't matter, does it? You're just friends.”

“I know,” Rose said glumly.

Billie and Simon came back in, Billie sat down next to Rose and whispered in her ear, “Sorry sweet.”
“Thats OK,” Rose said confused about what Billie was actually apologising about.

“Shall we go out for fag?” Billie asked.

“Ok,” Rose said and they left the room.

“I'll take over,” Danni said grabbing Rose's phone.

“Well it was Rose's turn,” Geri said grabbing a shot, “But now it's mine!” she picked a card and showed it to her sister.

“Pick someone to drink three fingers with you!” Danni said.

“Luke!” Geri chose, “You can, you're looking suspiciously sober to me, you little bastard!”

Luke laughed, “Oi, you cant call me a bastard, I'm meant to be you little brother!”

“Nope!” Geri said shaking her head, “I'm your little brother and you're my big sister, we're the sister brothers!”

Luke, Danni and Jayden laughed at Geri.

“Oh That's it all laugh at me, you bunch of sniggering bacon rashers!” Geri downed her three fingers, “Drink your fucking drink Luke!”
“Geri's hammered” Adam said leaning on Rhys's shoulder.

Rhys put his arm round him, “Is she not the only one?”
“I may be just a tiny bit drunk!” Adam admitted, “You?”

“Wasted!” Rhys said.

“Jayden has to drink the jug!” Luke jumped up, looking ecstatic.

Jayden looked at the jug, “Urgh, what the fuck is in it?”
“Jack Daniels, Archers, WKD, Champagne, Apple sourz and some carlsberg,” Naomi said.

“Doesn't look good mate!” Matt said.

Jayden took the jug in his hands and began to drink, he managed to drink it all, but did not look well afterwards.

Downstairs Billie and Rose were kissing, on the bench.

“I've missed this,” Billie said.

“Me too,” Rose said. 

Chapter Twenty one - Danni and Luke are back

“You are going to love It,” Rose said to Luke and Danni, she was in their room at the hotel talking about the new house her and Billie had moved into the day before while Danni and Luke were still in Paris.

Luke and Danni were up and ready to go, they had had to buy some more suitcases to fit all the new things they had bought into.

“Are we ready?” Luke asked.

“I am,” Danni said, checking herself out in the mirror.

“Our sofa's are getting delivered about now,” Rose said looking at her watch.

“What did you sit on?” Danni asked.

“Round the dining room table, but we were knackered by the time we go there last night, we just went straight to bed,” Rose said.

“Same bed?” Luke asked.

“No,” Rose laughed, “Our own beds.”

“How is all that going?” Danni asked as they left the hotel room.

“We slept together on Thursday,” Rose said, “but since then we've actually got to the point where I think we're friends.”
“Are you all right with that?” Luke asked.

“I don't know, she can be a bitch, but she is so funny and so bloody beautiful, every time I am sat with her I just wanna sit right next to her, and want to go where ever she is.”
“Aww,” Danni said, she looked at Luke, “That's like me and you babe!”

“Except for we love each other,” Luke said.

“Thanks Luke!” Rose said shaking her head.

They hopped into Luke's car and Rose directed his to their new flat. He parked in the car park, and they all grabbed two suitcases each out of the back and followed Rose in.

From the outside it looked the same as Adam, Matt and Rhys's house, but inside was very different.

“Your bed got here yesterday,” Rose said.

Through the front door was a little corridor with a dark brown laminate flooring, the kitchen and dining room were one room with one of the Kitchen worktops dividing the room, the living room was a large rectangular space, with the window taking up one side of the room. Billie and Rose's bedrooms were quite small, with enough space for a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside table, whereas Luke and Danni's room was very large with large fitted wardrobes and an en-suite.

“Hiya,” Billie said give Danni and Luke a quick kiss on the cheek.

The sofa's they had bought were large, comfy, squishy, brown and fabric with cushions all over them. Danni sat down as soon as she saw them, “Lush!” she said.

“You haven't even seen, Rhys and Adam's yet!” Rose said.

“I know, is it as nice as this?” Luke asked.

“No way!” Billie said.

“How's Geri?” Danni asked.

Billie explained what had happened.

“But her and Jayden have decided to go to Centre Parcs this weekend,” Rose said, “So that will be good for her I think.”

“Definitely,” Danni said.

“What shall we do now?” Rose asked.

“Throw a dinner party?” Billie asked.

“Why not?” Luke said.

Chapter twenty - Geri and Rhys' very different mornings

Rhys got out of the hot tub and wandered into the conservatory in just his boxers, Jade and Matt were up again smoking weed, it was 5am, he felt wrecked, but a good wrecked.

“What's your surname Rhys?” Jade asked, leaning over Matt for the ashtray.

“Walker,” Rhys said, racking himself up another line and sniffing it, “Yours?”

“Harman,” Jade said laughing for no apparent reason, “And Matt?”

“Nixon.”

“What have you been doing?” Rhys asked standing up and dancing to some non-existent music.

“Shagging,” Jade said, “You lot have been in the hot tub for three hours now!”

“Come in!” Rhys said.

“It will be freezing now, and I haven't got the energy,” Jade replied.

“Jayden's been asleep since you been in there,” Matt said.

“It's not even cold,” Rhys said, “Temperature doesnt apply to me.”
“Talking shit!” Matt said.

“Maybe.”
“Shall we go to bed?” Matt asked Jade.

“Hot tub,” Rhys said trying to grab Matt's hand.

“Seriously Rhys,” Matt said, “I am not getting in there!”
Rhys rolled his eyes and went back out into the hot tub.

Alicia and Chris we kissing on the lawn, so he got in with Simon and Naomi.

“What are they doing?” Naomi asked about Jayden, Matt and Jade.

“Jade and Matt are shagging and Jayden is asleep.”

“Shall we go into town and have breakfast?” Naomi asked.

“Lets do it,” Simon said.

“I'm not hungry at all,” Rhys said.

“Shall we go in the sea?” Simon asked.

“Yeah!” Rhys said.

They all jumped out and ran in the house, still soaking wet, Naomi fell over in the conservatory, Rhys picked her up and made sure she was OK.

She looked at him, “if only you were straight,” she said, before laughing.

“If only you were gay!” he said.

She burst out laughing, “Right get dressed! Alicia, Chris! We're going to seaside!”

“I've got us a taxi!” Simon said.

Ten minutes later the three of them were sat in the back of the taxi, Alicia and Chris were still in the garden.

They got to the beach, and decided they would go for food, Rhys got sugared doughnuts, Naomi got a fry up and Simon some chips.

Then they walked down to the sea and walked in, they didn't go far because it was cold even for them when they were so out of it.

“Fuck!” Rhys said gasping as Naomi sprayed water over him, “That is cold.”

Meanwhile Adam was now waking up, he rolled over and noticed Rhys wasn't there, he wasn't bothered, just curious.

He got up and went into the living room where Rose was asleep on the sofa, he checked Matt's room, he wasn't there either.

“Rose?” he asked.

“What?” she said groggily, she looked at her phone “Urgh, its fucking nine AM! Its been ages since I haven't been waken up!”
“Go and get in my bed babe,” Adam said kindly, “i don't suppose you know where them lot are do you?”

“Are they not back yet?” Rose said, checking her Inbox, she had no messages, she clicked onto Facebook, “He updated his status an hour ago, he is eating Doughnuts with someone called Naomi.”

Rose got up and stumbled into Adam's room to go back to bed.

Adam went into the kitchen and poured himself a coffee when the doorbell rang. It was Billie and Geri.

“Hiya,” Billie said as she entered the flat, Geri walking a little way behind her looking sad.

“Tea or Coffee?” Adam asked.

“Coffee please,” Billie looked at Geri, “Tea?” she has learnt from her night with Geri that she didn't like coffee.

“Yes please,” Geri said quietly.

“What are you doing here so early?” Adam asked them.

“Taking Geri to the doctors now,” Billie said, “Well in an hour, we just went for a walk to check we could find it and realised we had way too much time left so we came here!”

“Matt, Jayden and Rhys aren't back,” Adam said.

Geri looked up, she got her phone out immediately and text Jayden.

Where the fuck are you?

He didn't text back to Billie phoned Matt.

“What?” Matt said.

“Where are you?”

“Some random girls house,” Matt said.

“Jayden and Rhys?”
“Jayden is asleep on the sofa, and has been since we got back here and Rhys is off to the beach, still fucked.”

Billie laughed, “OK, you slept with someone?”
“Yeah, a girl called Jade,” Matt replied.

“I gotta go, I got Geri here. Screwing. Tell Jayden to call her when he wakes up.”
“He didn't even talk to any of the girls, let alone anything else,” Matt reassured her.

“OK, gotta go. Bye,” Billie looked at Geri, “Its OK, he only went back to look after the other two, apparently Rhys is at the beach, fucked out of his face.”

Adam laughed, “What a dickhead.”
Half an hour later Billie and Geri left for the doctors, Geri felt extremely anxious, she held on to Billie's hand in the waiting area and felt sick when she called her in.

Billie explained to the doctor how she had been feeling, then the doctor asked her a few questions.

“Has anything dramatically changed recently?”

“I moved away from my family,” Geri said, “after an argument with someone in my area.”

“OK, and have you been self harming or thinking about?”
“No, but I have thought about ending it.”
“To the point where you have a plan?”
“No.”
“Right I am going to prescribe to an anti-depressant that also helps with anxiety and panic attacks OK, and arrange some counselling for you.”
Geri and Billie left with the prescription.

Geri looked at Billie, “Thank you.” She smiled and they hugged, a new friendship formed.

Chapter nineteen - Rhys, Jayden and Matt's night out

Rhys and Jayden has persuaded Matt to come out as well and by 11pm they were in a club dancing and drinking. Matt went off to phone Emily every five minutes but she wasn't answering. He assumed she was tucked up in bed.

“Just going to get a drink!” Jayden said to Rhys.

“Get me one,” Rhys said, “I'm going out for a fag!”
He left the club and went outside to the smoking area, realising he had lost his lighter he went over to a group of people stood together and asked for a lighter.

There were three girls and two guys, they were pretty drunk, they gave Rhys a lighter and he got chatting to them.

“Where are you going after here?” one of the girls asked him.

“Probably wont be leaving for a while, but then i'll just go home,” he said as Jayden came out, “This is my friend Jayden.”
“Alright?” Jayden said to the group.

“I'm Alicia, this is Jade, Simon, Chris and Naomi,” one girl said, she was short with long brown hair and pretty plain looking.

“We're going back to Naomi's and going to get fucked,” Jade said, “Fancy it?”
Jayden and Rhys looked at each other and shrugged, “Why not?”

“We need to find Matt,” Jayden said.

“Is it OK if our friend comes?” Rhys asked.

Ten minutes later they were outside the club, they went and bought some pizza's then followed the people they had just met back to Naomi's house. It was a massive house, Rhys literally fell in love with it.

It had a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, the biggest kitchen he had ever seen and everything was decorated perfectly.

They went and sat in the conservatory, it had a white tiled floor, white leather sofa's and a wooded table in the middle.

“We're going to do some MDMA now,” the guy called Simon said taking the bag out of his coat pocket.

“Do you want a drink?” Naomi asked bringing over a bottle of vodka and a bottle of Red Bull.

“Yes please,” Jayden, Matt and Rhys said.

“Any of you want a line?” Simon asked tipping the substance on the table and using his driving licence to cut the lines.

“I will,” Rhys said, he had absolutely no idea why he was doing it but he was feeling really rebellious, Jayden looked totally shocked as he declined, Matt also declined but didn't realise how out of character it was for Rhys to do this.

“Dont you like it?” Jade asked Jayden.

“I used to take it all the time when I was young, but it doesnt appeal to me any more,” Jayden said, “But I'm not bothered by it, I'm happy just to sit here and watch you lot get pissed.

He watched as Rhys rolled up his five pound note and snort quite a large line of the substance, he then sat back and screwed up his face, Jayden laughed, “Its not a nice feeling is it?”
“No,” Rhys said, “But I will get used to it.”

Naomi ran her finger against the powder Rhys had left, sat on his lap and rubbed it into his gums for him.

Matt laughed, “You do realise he is gay don't you?”

“I don't care,” Naomi said laying on Rhys.

“I don't care either,” Rhys said getting out his phone and texting Rose.

Well fucked love. I love you, crazy bitch, x

She quickly replied.

Thanks lol. You're the crazy bitch. I love you too, I am in bed now so night, have a good night, behave. X

“You texting Adam?” Jayden asked.

“Nope,” Rhys said, “Can I have some water please?”

Jade got up and got him a glass. He drank some of it, “Thats well awesome, water, how clever!”

“Fancy going in my hot tub?” Naomi asked.

“Yes!” Rhys said, “Sounds good.”
They got up and left the conservatory, into the garden, getting completely naked they both jumped into the hot tub.

“I'm getting in,” Alicia said.

“Me too,” Simon and Chris left.

Leaving Matt and Jayden alone with Jade, who was smoking weed and laying down the middle of the table.

Jayden and Matt looked at each other, in an 'if only we were single,' sort of way.

“So, Jayden,” she said sitting up onto her elbows and looking at him, “Jay-den, I'm Jade,” this she found really funny and what ever she was going to say, she didn't say it, she offered her joint to Matt who took it and sat back.

They could hear everyone in the hot tub talking animatedly and really loudly, but in the conservatory it was a very calm affair.

Matt couldn't stop thinking about how fit Jade was, and for the first time in a week, wasn't thinking about Emily, then he realised how stupid he had been, he had known her one week!

Jayden got up to go and look round the house.

Matt looked at Jade.

“Come and sit over here,” he said.

She smiled and did as he said, laying down with her head on his lap, he stroked her hair and then her face, she stopped him, “Shall we go upstairs?” she asked.

“Are you sure?” he asked, “You look knackered,” tact clearly wasn't his strong point that evening.

“I'm fine, this is my look!” she said laughing, they got up and she led him out of the room. Jayden was asleep on the living room sofa, they went upstairs into what he guessed was Naomi's bedroom and she laid down on the bed, pulling him on top of her, she wasn't as forward as Emily, Emily was very dominant, she seemed sweeter and more innocent and Matt liked that about her.

As they were having sex they could hear the other outside in the garden, Matt's moment was almost ruined when he heard Rhys say that, “His gums felt like a nun's vagina.”

Chapter Eighteen - Geri gets worse and Matt falls hard

“Jayden!” Geri said pushing Jayden, “You need to wake up, I need to go home!”
“Fuck off,” Jayden said rolling over half asleep, he didn't mean it, he just wasn't very good with people waking him up, if she had of tried again and woken him up properly he would have been fine, and usually she would know this, but at the moment she couldn't think straight. Billie turned over on the sofa, Geri jumped, he heart was racing. She stood up, walked quietly out of the room and left the flat.

When she got outside and the air hit her, all she could feel was fear, she looked down at the ground and began walking really quickly, it would take her about twenty minutes to walk home, she didn't know why but everyone was staring at her, she was having to concentrate really hard on her breathing, she was worried she might stop breathing if she didn't concentrate. She felt so shaky and shivery, and she was sure it wasn't just a hangover, there was something wrong with her body and she didn't know what, but no one cared, she had no one she could turn to. Her sister was in bloody Paris! Her best friend seemed to only care about some girl who didn't like her, Jayden pretended to care but then told her to fuck off when she needed him most, and Rhys well, he obviously hated her, she him looking at Adam and rolling his eyes whenever she spoke to him. Deep down she kind of knew this wasn't true, but it was what her head was telling her, but she couldn't control it.

She arrived home, scrambled in her bag to get her keys and locked herself inside the house. She went round closing all of the curtains, then made herself a large glass of water and drank it all.

She took out her phone and sent a text to Jayden, Rose and Rhys.

To Jayden she wrote – don't bother coming home. I don't want to see you or hear from you, just give me a day or two, really don't come home. I'm not just saying that I NEED some space on my own. I wont let you in if you do come home. So just don't bother.

To Rose and Rhys – I thought you were my friends. Clearly not. Leave me alone please.

Within seconds Jayden was trying to call her. She switched her phone off.

She sat on the sofa, staring at the ceiling and fell asleep.

At Rhys and Adam's Jayden was sat up in bed extremely confused. He got up and walked over to the sofa's where Billie and Rose were fast asleep. Rose's phone was flashing so she had a text.

Rhys came into the living room in just his boxers, “Just got a text from Geri,” he said.

“Me too,” Jayden said showing Rhys his.

“I don't get it,” Rhys said.

Jayden bent down next to Rose. “Rose? Geri's gone, but I think she has text you, can I check your phone?”

“Go for it,” Rose said not opening her eyes.

“Says the same as yours,” Jayden said to Rhys, he read the text out to Rose.

Billie opened her eyes and sat up, “I know what's wrong with her,” she said, they all looked at her, “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I used to work for Social Services. Its common, the only thing is, it will be hard for her to get proper diagnosis, cause she cant tell doctors what she did.”

“And what will happen? What are the symptoms?”

“Paranoia, not trusting people, anxiety, agitation, psychosis, feeling things aren't real, panic attacks, fear.”

“What should we do?” Rose asked.

“Its difficult, because she Is going to push the people closest to her away, deep down its because of guilt but she wont realise that, she will think you're awful and that she hates you, but this can switch up quite quickly. For instance she was fine last night and now she isn't. I think, leave her for a bit, next chance you get, where she feels OK, get her to the doctors.”
“How can I leave her?” Jayden asked, “What if she hurts herself?”
Billie took a deep breath, “Do you want me to go round there and talk to her?”
“Do you think that will help?” Rhys asked.

“I can try,” Billie said, “But if you go round there when she has told you not to, then she's going to get even angrier. I think That's all it is at the moment, is anger.”

“Go on then,” Jayden said, “Is it OK if I stay here Rhys?”

“Course,” Rhys said.

Billie got dressed and left the house saying, “I'll text you and let you know what happens.”
A moment after she left Emily and Matt came into the room. It was now half three, Matt had picked Emily up at around 9.30, and they had come home and gone straight back to bed.

“What the fuck happened to your face?” Rose asked Emily.

“I fell over,” Emily said.

Rhys, Jayden and Rose looked at each other.

“Ouch!” Jayden said, “Looks horrible.”

“Shall I cook a fry up?” Matt asked.

“Ooh!” Rose said smiling, “Yes please!”

“I'm going to have a shower,” Rhys said, leaving the room.

Emily sat down with Jayden and Rose, while Matt went into the kitchen.

“Where's Billie?” Emily asked looking round.

“She's gone,” Jayden said.

“Shame,” Emily said sarcastically.

Jayden and Rose looked quite shocked.

“She just worries about her brother,” Rose said.

“A little bit too much, don't you think?” Emily asked.

Rose felt a bit angry, how dare this girl come into someone else house and be such a bitch. Jayden shook his head at Rose, who looked like she was going to carry on the argument.

They sat in silence for a few minutes before Adam came wandering in, “Morning guys!” he said brightly.

“Morning,” the three of them said glumly.

“Oh, you're a happy bunch aren't you?” Adam said going into the kitchen with Matt.

“Morning,” Matt said to him.

“What's the Matter with them lot?” Adam asked.

“No idea mate,” Matt said cracking eggs into the frying pan.

“What happened to Emily's face?”

“She fell over.”

“Do you believe her?” Adam poured himself some Juice.

“Yes, why wouldn't I?”
“Because she leaves at 4am, to visit her sick mother, then needs picking up at 9.30, and has develop a huge bruise, its all very strange.”
“I don't know why, but I trust her.”
“I'm not having a go at you, I just want you to be careful, you don't know her and things are a bit dodgy.”
Matt looked at Adam, thoughtfully, “I think I'm in love with her.”

“Oh Matt,” Adam gave him a quick hug, “Maybe That's why you cant see what I see.”

Adam went back into the living room and flicked the heating on, before sitting on the sofa next to Emily and pulling the duvet that Billie had had over himself.

“Whats the Matter?” he asked Rose, who was biting her nails and looking at the floor.

Jayden and Rose explained to him about Geri.

“Breakfasts ready,” Matt said bringing the food the the table, “Help yourselves.”
He'd cooked sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, burgers, chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, made toast, fried bread and put some normal bread out.

They all tucked in and ate until it was all gone. Jayden and Rose did the washing up, while Adam and Rhys cleared away. Rose thought how rude it was that Emily didn't offer to help at all, just got up, left her plate and went and turned the TV on.

“Can I go and lay down in your bed?” Rose asked Rhys.

“Sure,” Rhys said, “Are you OK?”

“Yeah, I'm just tired.”
“Shall I stick a film on?” Adam asked.

“Sounds good,” Emily said.

She was really starting to grate on Jayden, she seemed way to happy without actually looking happy at all, everything about her looked to be fake.

It was raining outside, they all sat on the sofa's under duvet's watching some random film Adam had put on. After the film was finished, Adam got up and turned the light on. Jayden had fallen asleep.

“Fag?” Rhys asked Adam.

They left the house and went downstairs to smoke, they stood under the bin shelter because of the rain.

“What a nightmare,” Adam said.
“What bit?” Rhys asked.

“Geri, mainly, but this shit with Emily, Matt is being totally ridiculous, he told me he is in love with her. They have only just met!”

“I know,” Rhys said, “Has Billie text you at all?”

“No,” Adam said, “Afraid not, I am sure Geri will be OK. Billie may seem to be a bit of a bitch, but she is good at things like this.”
They put their fags out and went upstairs, they could hear Matt and Emily at it again in Matt's room. Rhys opened his bedroom door, Rose was fast asleep.

They went into the living room and Jayden was awake and on the phone, “Ok Billie, Thank you, really means a lot. Yeah I will speak to them. See you later.” He hung up and smiled at Rhys. “She seems a lot better, Billie is going to stay there with her tonight and she has agreed to go to the doctors tomorrow. She said she knows I love her, and that we all love her, but she just needs some space.”
“That's good,” Adam said, “I'll go and make us a coffee.”
Rhys sat down on the sofa next to Jayden.

“Do you fancy going out Rhys? I need a drink.”

“I'll ask Adam,” Rhys said.

Adam came in with three coffee's.

“Do you fancy going out tonight?” Rhys asked him.

“No, not tonight, but you two go out, have a good time, I'm curling up on the Sofa with my new One Tree Hill Box Set, and that is where I will be staying!”
